Whether your character is a Hogwarts student or an auror working for the Ministry of Magic, our interactive world is steeped in possibility — and, of course, magic!
We encourage members to create and drive their own plot arcs, and as a community, emphasize good writing and character development. Want to join? Read our information, and pop into the cbox! We hope to meet you soon.

ACTIVITY LOG, 5/15. It's that time again! Make sure to post in our activity log and save your characters by May 31st!
Ilse hardly skips a beat, her response being limited to a slight straightening of her back as she pulls her books in closer against her chest and flicks a glance towards Elijah. Her impassivity and placid expression countering Elijah's own smile as she flicks her gaze forward and continues to lead the way.
"I have not been trying anything, let alone doing anything out of the ordinary." She'll reply smoothly, which was a bold lie, but one she can pass along with rather adept ability.
Lying is an important tool for someone in her position after all.
"... Good afternoon." She'll finally remark a moment afterwards, she may have been avoiding him but that was no excuse to be rude.
The girl knits her brow in consideration of his response, the arching of his brow enough to get her to raise her chin some. "Of course." She'll reply simply, it was the truth after all, there wasn't exactly a plethora of moments they had shared up to this moment.
In reality, she could probably count the number of conversations they'd had on her hands.
"Yes." Eli's fiance replies in turn to the greeting, the girl coming to a stop in the middle of the hallway and letting the two bask in only the most awkward of silences.
She thought she would be more resentful in this moment, angrier, that she would say something and yet here she is with her books held tight to her chest and the girl not working up the courage to either get over herself or even say anything more.
Eli breathes a laugh, brushing fingers through the blonde bangs flopped over his forehead. Eli grins at an acquaintance as she passes, and slips his hands into his robe pockets, seemingly unperturbed by the silence.
Ilse glances once more, catching the movement of his brushing fingers out of the corner of her eye and noting the tick. Frankly, this was awkward, a feeling which was largely rather unfamiliar to her as she was not exactly known for stepping out of her comfort zone. And yet, here she was, each step magnified in her head before she clears her throat in a perfunctory stuffy way.
"Charms, then potions, following that will be ancient runes." She lists easily, only to turn her head to give him a blank gaze.
"I presume you'll be keeping a list of these?"
Her voice is too even to tell if that was spiteful at all, though most things she says can come off as tersely rude.
Her pace finally stutters as Eli spins in front of her, the girl slowing down for a moment before turning her chin upwards and finding a way to somehow straighten her back further. "Only in regards to matters which deserve them."
Of course, she only ever seemed to be doing important things, which meant she was stuck in a perpetual state of seriousness! Maybe the problem IS her after all?
But his suggestion finally gets her to stop, the girl narrowing her eyes sharply before she quickly turns her nose up and to the right as if she were the subject of some victorian painting.
"I cannot believe you would even think that I would entertain skipping a class." She remarks, the German really coming out in her voice with that statement.
"That was not an answer." The girl replies, narrowing her eyes all the sharper as she clears her throat in perfunctory fashion. "Regardless, I will not have to get away with it because I will not be do-" She'll stop when Eli mentions her supposed debt.
"And how exactly do you figure that?" She'll ask, far more animated now than she probably ever has been with him! Frankly, she didn't expect their first real conversation since their engagement to go this way.
But here they are, and frankly, it could be so much worse.
The girl peers after him, her brow slowly knitting with frustration as she holds her ground a moment more. There's even the slightest tap of her foot as she casts her gaze away, only to flick her sight back towards the slowly retreating figure.
A slight little whisper under her breath as she follows after Elijiah, shoes clicking on the stone and the girl hustling with no small amount of shame to catch up to him. Though, the second she comes abreast she'll slow up her pace evenly as if nothing had happened.
"Only once." She'll remark in perfunctory posh manner.
